Led by the noted antiques expert Dora Molnar, a Paris-based furniture consultant whose practice is dedicated to the private sourcing of fine French antique, modern and contemporary items for the interior design industry. Dora advises numerous global clients – taking special satisfaction in identifying the most intriguing items. She also advised the companies exhibiting at fairs such as TEFAF, la Biennale des Antiquaires, Frieze Masters, Design Days Dubai, Salone del Mobile and Design Miami/Basel.
After a coffee and introductions of interests and needs, Dara will guide us to the workshops of incredible, inspiring craftsman and artists who will host us. Visits may include locations such as the Viaduc des Arts, making furniture since the 13th century, and glass maker,Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert., whose pieces can be seen at the brand new Hotel Nolinski in Paris or at the V&A Museum in London, and Mydriaz, a brass lighting and furniture collaborator. The tour will include many more locations.
